Closer to Fine Farm operates on a gifting economy. Our work is to provide safe healing space in nature for BIPOC, queer and actively allied communities. It is a generosity based community exchange - not a business or nonprofit and does not charge fees for our offerings or seek corporate funding.
Guests and supporters are asked to voluntarily contribute as generously as they can according to their own means to help us collectively cover costs and expenses.

Your generous gift will help pay for:

Farm operating expenses including taxes, utilities, insurance, building and grounds repair and upkeep
Farm labor - employing local laborers and visiting farm helpers to assist with day to day farm tasks
Hay, straw, feed and supplements for goats, chickens, dogs, cats and wild birds
Veterinary expenses and medications for animals
Farm and garden equipment and tools, greenhouse supplies, seeds and seedlings
Tree trimming and maintenance including wood splitting/chopping/stacking
Purchasing and maintaining resources to host guests and community events including tents, beds and furniture, camping equipment, outdoor cooking equipment, recreational equipment and supplies, outdoor toilet, shower and washing facilities
New building construction costs (including design, labor and materials) for cob ceremonial round house and meditation temple
